Since the first Formula One night race was staged in Singapore in 2008, the yearly spectacle has set new standards in motorsports. Now in its fifth year, the 2012 FORMULA 1 SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX will continue to captivate audiences with its powerful combination of thrilling race action, world-class entertainment and a spectacular backdrop of heritage buildings and iconic modern architecture.
Located right in the heart of the city, the Marina Bay Street Circuit is conveniently accessible, with six subway stations at its doorstep. Spectators are just a stone's throw away from hotels, numerous nightspots, award-winning restaurants and shopping malls.
"It's spectacular seeing the cars so close at night, seeing them right in front of you in the middle of the city," says Sebastian Vettel, 2011 Formula One World Champion. "There are a lot of concerts going on, things like that make it all in all very spectacular for people to come. The attraction is huge."

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and Taiwanese R&B king
Jay Chou who will perform at the Padang stage. Ticketholders are also able to relive the greatest hits of the '80s as Bananarama, Pretenders and The Proclaimers perform at various entertainment stages over the three days. There are also plenty of food and beverage options available within the circuit park, such as the 'Hawker Village' in Zone 4 which features international cuisine as well as local delights.
The roving entertainment throughout the circuit park, combined with the illuminated track and the balmy tropical evening lends a special ambience to the event.
