SAMI YUSUF FIRST LIVE CONCERT IN MALAYSIA
With a fan base of millions of Muslims worldwide, singer, songwriter and composer Sami Yusuf is set to pack Stadium Malawati

will also feature the performance of Malaysian superstar, Datuk Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin. The duo had recently recorded a duet entitled 'You Came To Me' which will be featured in Sami's soon-to-be released album, 'Salaam'.
"It is an honor for me to present my fans in this region with this exclusive duet song and I am looking forward to perform the duet song with Malaysia's number one superstar at the concerts in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur," said Sami.
"The concert here will be very exciting. I'm very honored and delighted to be given such a warm reception in Malaysia. I've been waiting to perform in Malaysia for the past eight years. It is going to be a very special show," he added.
The concert in Malaysia also coincides with the launch of 'Salaam', his fourth studio album. Malaysian fans should not miss this concert, as this is his first ever live concert in Malaysia and in Asia.
The 31-year old British singer-songwriter, composer and producer made his debut in 2003 with his album, 'Al-Mu'allim'
and followed by 'My Ummah
' in 2005, both of which has sold close to an estimated 12 million copies worldwide. His third studio album 'Wherever You Are
' was released in 2010.
Sami Yusuf has played to sold out concerts around Bosnia, Canada, France, Belgium, Finland, Austria, Greece and the Netherlands. In the Middle East and Asian regions, he performed to crowds of tens of thousands in Egypt's Cairo and Alexandria, Qatar, Kuwait, UAE and Saudi Arabia among others.
He received a record crowd of 250,000 in Istanbul, Turkey, earning him the title "Islam's Biggest Rock Star" from TIME magazine.
